Antwerp Marathon: limited access to car parks

On Sunday 11 September, the Antwerp Marathon, sponsored by the Antwerp-Bruges Port Authority, will be held in Antwerp. Due to the safety measures put in place for this event, access to some car parks will be limited or not possible at all.

On Sunday 11 September, the Antwerp Marathon, sponsored by the Antwerp-Bruges Port Authority, will be held in Antwerp.

Participants run either a full or half marathon on a car-free route which winds through the city. The races start at the Cadixwijk (Madrasstraat) at around 9:30 for the half marathon and 10:00 for the full marathon. The finish for both distances is at the MAS. Half marathon runners are expected at about 12:30 and the full marathon runners at about 15:30.

To welcome runners and their supporters to the city, several traffic regulating measures have been put in place around the route to ensure everyone’s safety. This also means that access to some car parks will be limited or not possible at all.
