St. Charles Borromeo Church

If you’re an architecture fan, you must see the imposing St. Charles Borromeo Church. Antwerp’s Jesuits built this beautiful Baroque church between 1615 and 1621. It is now the splendour of Antwerpa true example of Baroque church architecture. The imposing facade is just a prelude to the lavish decorations inside the church.

In addition to faith and history, music also plays an important role in this church today. A musicians’ mass is held every Sunday and on all religious holidays. To find out which musicians are gracing the mass, check the calendar on the Artiestenfonds website.
