Roadworks and events in Hasselt

Driving in and out not possible at Q-Park Molenpoort and Q-Park TT on 13 September
Car-Free Sunday will take place in Hasselt on Sunday 13 September 2026. From 11:00 to 21:00, the inner ring road and the streets within it will be closed to motorised traffic.

During this period, driving in and out will not be possible at:
- Q-Park Molenpoort
- Q-Park Tweetorenwijk (TT)
Alternatively, you can park at Q-Park Dusart or Q-Park Luikerpoort. Q-Park Dusart remains accessible via Koning Boudewijnlaan. Q-Park Luikerpoort remains accessible via Toekomststraat.

Changed routes during the funfair from 14 to 29 September
The funfair will take place in Hasselt from 14 to 29 September 2026. During this period, the inner ring road between Maastrichtersteenweg and the end of the Kanaalkom will be closed every day from 12:00 to 00:00. On 19, 25 and 26 September, the closure will last until 01:00.

All Q-Park car parks will remain accessible during this period, but different routes will apply.

Q-Park Molenpoort

You can drive in and out of the car park as normal until 12:00. During the closure, follow the alternative routes below.

Driving in:

Drive via Kuringersteenweg, Burgemeester Bollenstraat and Manteliusstraat. From there, there are two routes to the car park:
- Follow the service road to the car park entrance.
- Cross the inner ring road and drive via Het Dorp and Isabellastraat to Gasthuisstraat. You can drive into the car park via Gasthuisstraat.
Driving out:
- Drive via Demerstraat to Kempische Steenweg. This route remains available during the funfair. Follow the on-site signage.
- Drive via Witte Nonnenstraat, Bonnefantenstraat, Zuivelmarkt, Demerstraat and Maastrichterstraat to Maastrichtersteenweg.
Q-Park Tweetorenwijk (TT)

We recommend driving in via Capucienenstraat rather than via Maastrichterstraat.

Q-Park Dusart

This car park remains accessible via Koning Boudewijnlaan. The approach route from the south via the inner ring road past Kolonel Dusartplein will not be available during the closure.
