WHAT IS THE ADDRESS FOR CAR PARKS AT CHARLEROI AIRPORT?

    Q-Park offers various parking facilities according to your needs.

    Coming from Wallonia (South Belgium) - from the motorway (A15/E42) take the Heppignies exit> follow signs for Charleroi Airport > turn left onto Rue de Ransart > at the roundabout, take 2nd exit and continue on Rue de Ransart > continue on Rue d'Heppignies > at the roun dabout take 1st exit onto Rue Charles Lindbergh > continue on Rue Charles Lindbergh > continue on Rue des Frères Wright > follow signs for P1, Lock Park and P2 > the entrance to P1 and Lock Park is on the right, and P2 is on the left

WHAT ARE THE OPENING TIMES?

    All airpor t car parks are open 24 hours a day 7 days a week, except car park P3. P3 is open from 4:30 until midnight or later if a flight is delayed. Please refer to the illuminated signs along the road or ask the car park staff.

ARE LUGGAGE TROLLEYS PROVIDED?

    The airport does not provide luggage trolleys.

HOW FAR ARE THE CAR PARKS FROM THE AIRPORT TERMINAL?

    The walk from the furthest car park to the check-in desks takes about 20 minutes, but on average it takes 15 minutes on foot.

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN EXPRESS, P1 AND LOCK PARK CAR PARKS?

    Express car park is a short-term car park situated directly opposite the airport building. The walking distance from the car park to the check-in desk is a maximum of 5 minutes. It is an ideal car park for droppin g off friends or family. (350 parking spaces)

    P1 is the ideal car park for short or medium-term stays. It is a convenient car park with 4 floors (-1, 0, 1, 2). It is also easy to find because as a multi-storey car park it is clearly visible just in front of the airport building. (3076 parking spaces). You can pre-book your parking space.

    Lock Park car park is a closed parking facility that is only accessible after pre-booking. It is situated on level -1 of the P1 car park.

    P2 is the ideal car park for long-term stays. (1470 parking spaces) This open-air car park is located just before P1 on the left.

WHAT ARE THE TARIFFS?

    The parking tariffs can be found on our website. Please note that there may be a difference between prices paid at the car park and those paid when booking online. Please check the information provided at the airport.

HOW CAN I PAY?

    In the interests of speed, convenience and security we advise you to pay at one of the 11 ticket machines or directly at the one of the 8 car park exits. We accept the following credit cards: Visa, MasterCard and American Express.

    You cannot pay with Bancontact or Maestro at the ticket machines, but these cards are accepted at the parking host's lodge located on level 0 of P1, just before the exits.

    6 ticket machines take euro notes and coins (cash):
    • 2 ticket machines at the Express car park
    • 1 ticket machine next to the lifts in the airport building on level 2
    • 1 payment machine at level 0 in P1 behind the Rent a Car offices
    • 2 ticket machines in P1 on level 0 next to P2

WHERE CAN I PAY?

    At one of the 11 ticket machines that you pass when walking back to your car:
    in the Express car park:
    • 2 ticket machines: cash + credit card
    • 2 ticket machines: credit card only

    in the airport building next to the lifts on level 2:
    • 1 ticket machine: cash + credit card
    • 2 ticket machines: credit card only

    in the P1 car park, level 0 behind the Rent a Car offices:
    • 1 ticket machine: cash + credit card
    • 1 ticket machine: credit card only

    in the P1 car park, on level 0 next to the P2 car park:
    • 2 ticket machines: cash + credit card

    Although it is possible to pa y by card (credit cards only) on leaving the car parks, we strongly advise you to pay at one of the 11 ticket machines, in order to avoid queues.

    Please note: paying with euro notes and coins is only possible at 6 of the ticket machines.

    If you have problems or if your credit card is not accepted, you can pay with Bancontact at the parking host's lodge located in P1 on level 0 just before the exit.

CAN I PRE-BOOK?

    You can pre-book a parking space for P1 and Lock Park. Please note that Lock Park (level -1 in P1) is only accessible after pre-booking.

HOW CAN I PRE-BOOK A PARKING SPACE?

    You can book and pay online via the website www.q-park-resa.fr/en/. After completing your booking, you will receive a confirmation email with your QR code. Print your confirmation and bring it with you, or save it on your smartphone.

    On arrival at the car park: (for bookings at Lock Park)
    When you arrive at the entrance to the car park, take the right-hand lane. At the entry barrier to the car park (at the time indicated in your booking), hold the QR code up to the optical reader. A ticket corresponding to your booking will then be issued. Take your ticket and keep it with you. You will need it to open the door of the pedestrian access when you return to collect your car.
    If you have a booking for Lock Park, drive to level -1 and follow the signs for Lock Park. At the barrier, place your ticket in the terminal. The gate will open and you can drive in. Park your car wherever you like.

    On arrival at the car park (for bookings at car park P1). When you arrive at the entry barrier to P1 (at the time indicated in your booking), hold the QR code up to the optical reader. A ticket corresponding to yo ur booking will then be issued. Take your ticket and keep it with you. You will need it to open the door of the pedestrian access when you return to collect your car. Park your car wherever you like.

ARE THERE PARKING SPACES FOR THE DISABLED?

    Yes, parking spaces are provided for disabled people on every level of car park P1. These parking spaces comply with the requisite dimensions for maximum convenience and are always located as close as possible to the access routes. There is no price difference for these spaces.

ARE THERE PARKING SPACES FOR MOTORCYLES?

    These car parks do not have parking spaces for motorcycles. Motorcycles are not permitted in the car parks. A free parking for motorcycles can be found outside. Follow the "Rental" signs. Bookings are not possible.

    WHERE CAN OVERSIZE VEHICLES OR CARS WITH A ROOF BOX AND HIGHER THAN 2M BE PARKED?

      These vehicles can be parked in P2 and Express open-air car parks.

    ARE THE PARKING SPACES NUMBERED?

      The parking spaces are not numbered. However, each level of P1 can be identified by colour and level number; rows can be recognised by the level number (-1, 0, 1 or 2) followed by a different letter for each row. Note the details on your car park ticket to make it easier to find your car again on your return.

    HOW CAN I FIND MY WAY?

      Each car park has its own colour code. The colour and the name of your car park are shown on your ticket. It is best to write the level number and the row letter where you have parked on your ticket when you park in P1. The row furthest away from the lifts is m arked with the letter O. The row nearest the lifts is marked with the letter A. Every row has a sign with the average time a family needs to walk to the airport building.

    ARE THE CAR PARKS GUARDED?

      The parking fee covers the cost of parking, not surveillance. Consequently, the car parks are not permanently guarded. Consult our internal regulations located at the entrance to every car park. The car parks are equipped with a remote surveillance system and a security guard regularly makes a round of the car park. However, we advise you to be vigilant at all times. Do not hesitate to report any suspicious behaviour to Q-Park personnel.

    WHAT SHOULD I DO IN THE EVENT OF A PROBLEM OR BREAKDOWN?

      Every car park is equipped with an intercom that you can use to contact the parking host 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. In addition, an intercom is l ocated at the foot of every fire escape so that an emergency can be reported immediately. We suggest you save the telephone number in your mobile phone:

BOOK YOUR PARKING SPACE

ARE THE PARKING SPACES REALLY RESERVED?

    Yes. If you book via Q-Park Résa, you pay in advance and therefore enjoy the security of knowing that a parking space will be available for you when you arrive.

CAN I BOOK A SPECIFIC PARKING SPACE IN A CAR PARK?

    No. There are no numbered parking spaces. You can park wherever you like, unless otherwise stated in the terms and conditions of the car park where you have booked your parking space. You can find this information on the car park's web page and in the your booking confirmation.

    No. The saved search on your personal web page must be paid for online to be confirmed. Your parking space is only guaranteed after payment.

IS IT POSSIBLE TO MAKE A BOOKING SEVERAL MONTHS IN ADVANCE?

    Yes. With Q-Park Résa you can pre-book a parking space up to 6 months (180 days) before your intended arrival at the car park.

IS IT POSSIBLE TO BOOK A SPACE ON THE ACTUAL DATE OF ARRIVAL AT THE CAR PARK?

    Yes. You can pre-book a parking space up to two hours prior to arrival.

IS IT POSSIBLE TO PAY ON LEAVING THE CAR PARK?

    No. All bookings must be paid for online prior to your arrival at the car park.

< h3>CAN I CANCEL A BOOKING?

    Yes. Cancellation is possible from your customer web page under the heading ‘My bookings’. Click on ‘Cancel this booking’ up to 72 hours before the time of your arrival. If you wish to cancel, you can still do this on the day before your arrival before 23:59.

CAN I CHANGE MY BOOKING?

    No. You cannot change a booking, but you can cancel it from your personal customer page.

IT POSSIBLE TO BOOK SEVERAL SPACES IN THE SAME CAR PARK AT THE SAME TIME?

    Yes. For this type of booking, you must use the contact form on the customer service web page and give details of your request: car park, dates and times of arrival and departure, number of parking spaces required. You will receive a quote within 2 working days. As soon as your request is approved, your booking will be sent to the person responsible at the relevant car park so that they can ensure the availability of the requested parking spaces.

IS IT POSSIBLE TO BOOK SPACES FOR MOTORCYLES, VANS, LORRIES AND MOBILE HOMES?

    No. Bookings are only possible for light vehicles.

WHAT IS A QR CODE? HOW DOES IT WORK?

    A QR Code (an abbreviation for Quick Response) is a two-dimensional bar code that contains information such as your details, the details of the your booking (name, car park, duration, type of product). The code is read by optical readers located at the entrance to the car parks from a printed copy or from the screen of your smartphone. Watch the video.

I DON'T HAVE A SMARTPHONE, CAN I USE Q-PARK RESA?

    < ;p>Yes. As soon as your booking has been paid, a QR code is generated. You will find this in your confirmation email. Print this on a white sheet of A4 without changing the print size. A good print quality is required. When you arrive at car park, hold your QR code up to the optical reader next to the barrier. Take the ticket that is printed, and the barrier will open. Park your car. If something goes wrong, for example you lose your printout or the print quality is poor, you must print out the QR code again.

DO I HAVE TO REPORT TO THE PERSON RESPONSIBLE WHEN I ARRIVE?

    No* When you arrive at the entrance to the car park (at the time indicated in your booking), hold the QR code that you received when you made your booking up to the optical reader. A ticket corresponding to your booking will be issued. Take your ticket and keep it somewhere safe. You will need it to open the pedestrian entrance on your return.

    * Unless otherwise specified in the terms and conditions for the car park where you made your booking. In certain car parks you must notify your arrival via the intercom at the car park entrance so that the person responsible can talk to you.

IS IT NECESSARY TO GO TO THE TICKET MACHINE BEFORE LEAVING THE CAR PARK?

    No. As long as you haven't exceeded the intended time, you just need to place your ticket in the terminal at the exit barrier.

IS IT POSSIBLE TO ARRIVE PRIOR TO MY INTENDED ARRIVAL TIME?

    Yes. You can arrive up to 15 minutes before the arrival time specified in your booking.
    In this case you will not incur any additional charges. If you arrive more than 15 minutes ahead of time, an additional charge will be applied at the automatic ticket machine or the exit payment terminal in accordance with the app licable tariff.

IS IT POSSIBLE TO LEAVE AFTER THE TIME INDICATED?

    Yes. You can leave the car park up to 15 minutes after the departure time specified in your booking. In this case you will not incur any additional charges. If you leave more than 15 minutes after the departure time specified in your booking, an additional charge will be applied at the automatic ticket machine or the exit payment terminal in accordance with the applicable tariff.

CAN I LEAVE AND ENTER THE CAR PARK SEVERAL TIMES?

    Yes. If the car park offers the Multipass formula and you have chosen this product, you can enter and leave the car park as often as you like during the period of your booking. In this case you are guaranteed a parking space each time you enter the car park. If you have chosen the Onepass formula, leaving the car park is definitive and your book ing will be cancelled, even if the originally reserved parking period has not yet expired.

IS IT POSSIBLE TO LEAVE THE CAR PARK BEFORE THE END OF MY RESERVATION?

    Yes. If you leave before the day or hour stated in your booking, you cannot request a refund.

WHAT SHOULD I DO IF I LOSE MY TICKET?

    Before you go to your car, go to the automatic ticket machine and press the intercom button. Our remote assistance service will respond 24 hours a day. You will be asked to give your name and booking number in order to leave the car park.

ARE THE CAR PARKS ALWAYS ACCESSIBLE?

    Yes. Q-Park Résa customers can enter and leave the car park 24 hours a day, even during the hours when the car park is closed to the general public. Just press the intercom button at the ca r park entrance and give your booking number. The ticket that is issued at the car park entrance, also gives you access to the secure pedestrian entrance.

WHO CAN I CONTACT AT THE CAR PARK IF I HAVE ANY PROBLEMS?

    If you should have a problem at the car park, you can always contact Q-Park staff via the intercom buttons at the car park entrance and exit barriers and at the automatic ticket machines.

IS THERE A SPECIAL ENTRANCE FOR Q-PARK RESA CUSTOMERS?

    No. Enter the car park using via entrance for regular customers. However, your parking space is guaranteed. Even if signs indicate that the car park is full, you still have a reserved space. Sometimes some car parks experience a lot of traffic. Please allow the necessary time to reach the entrance barrier. Q-Park cannot be held responsible for long waiting times at the entrance barriers.& lt;/p>
